How To Apply

Applications must be made on the prescribed form which can be downloaded from this website. A recent photograph should be attached and also copies of any certificates or diplomas that you have earned, or other documents that would support your application. The completed form, together with the relevant joining and subscription fees - in the form of a crossed cheque payable to the Hotel Controllers and Accountants Association of Hong Kong - should be mailed to:

Hotel Controllers and Accountants Association of Hong Kong

Your application will be reviewed at the next membership committee meeting and successful applicants will be notified immediately afterwards and will receive a Certificate of Membership.

The HCAA appreciates the concern that applicants may have regarding the personal data that they will submit on their application forms. Information provided will be used for review purposes only.

For enquiries about the Association's Certificate in Hotel Accounting course, you should approach the Education Committee chairman.

Download the application form in pdf or word format.

How Much Will It Cost Me?

Being a non profit organisation, fees are set so that income is just enough to cover anticipated expenses. Moreover, we recognise that a large number of our members have limited resources and so we try to keep fees as low as possible.

There is a one-off entrance fee for all members and different levels of annual fees for the different grades of membership. Information about current fees can be found below.

HCAA membership runs from July 1st to June 30th each year. For applications received during the last quarter of the membership year, i.e. from April 1st to June 30th, the membership fee will cover the period until June 30th the following year.

More and more hotels are including provisions in their training budgets for HCAA courses and seminars, so you will probably find that the Association's educational activities are available to you for nothing, or at heavily subsidised rates.

Fees as of 1 July 2012 are as follows:-

One-time Joining Fee: HK$300
Annual Membership Fee:
Fellow HK$900
Associate HK$700
Ordinary HK$400
Student HK$100
Corporate Membership Package HK$3,500 (maximum of 6 memberships
irrespective of class)
